Meridian Physiotherapy

Our Physiotherapists

A small team, three physiotherapists

You'll work with the same physiotherapist throughout your course of treatment. This continuity means they understand your progress, your goals, and what works best for you — and you get to know them, which matters when you're recovering from injury or surgery.

Sarah Mitchell

Back and neck pain · Post-surgical rehab

Sarah specialises in back and neck pain, from acute injury through to long-term management. She works with patients recovering from spinal surgery and designs individualised rehab programmes that rebuild strength and confidence. Sarah leads our weekly Pilates-based rehab class, a low-impact way to restore core stability and mobility after injury.

Sarah listens carefully to what matters most to you — whether that's returning to work without pain, playing with your children, or getting back to sport — and builds your treatment plan around those goals.

James Okafor

Sports injuries · Return to play

James works with runners, footballers, cricketers and team-sport players on everything from acute muscle strains to overuse injuries. He specialises in return-to-play planning — not just getting you pain-free, but rebuilding the strength, speed and confidence you need to perform at your best.

James combines hands-on treatment with a practical, evidence-based approach to training load and technique. He's worked with competitive and recreational athletes alike, and understands both the physical demands of sport and what it means when injury sidelines you.

Priya Anand

Post-surgical care · Musculoskeletal rehab

Priya works with patients in the weeks and months following surgery — knees, shoulders, hips, spine — guiding them through the structured stages of rehabilitation and back to normal activity. She also treats general musculoskeletal complaints including back and neck pain, and supports patients through the follow-up phase after initial injury.

Priya excels at explaining what's happening in your body and why each stage of rehab matters. She believes informed patients recover better, and she's patient and thorough in answering questions and adjusting treatment as you progress.

Book with the right physiotherapist

When you book your first assessment, you can request a particular physiotherapist if you know who you'd like to see. If you're not sure or don't have a preference, just let us know your main concern — back pain, sports injury, post-surgical recovery — and we'll match you based on availability and expertise.

Either way, continuity is built in: once you start with one of us, you'll see the same person throughout your treatment.
